Spring ahead :)

Spring is here :). I can't describe how good it feels to go outside without having to go through the ritual of wearing 3 coats! The temperature is almost normal and everything feels so lovely. Its certainly a plus that the tulips bulbs we planted (with difficulty, let me remind you) are popping the shoots out of the ground :-D.

:) :) :). I was almost sure that they would get eaten by some worm or the other :-p. The best is not that. The neighbouring house has a shrub which has flowered!

There are no leaves on the plant but there are flowers :). The other thing is that the neighbourhood has planted cherry trees which are flowering too and man, do they make a pretty picture :). As usual nature makes my need to photograph uncontrollable ;-).

They look nice, don't they?

Some cherry flower stalks...

Some more cherry flower stalks...

Lots more cherry flower stalks...

Looks like a great start to a fun summer :).

Have you upped the frequency of posts?? I missed the last one, will be back :)

Shikha, you missed a whole year of my hammering :-D. Good for you :).

Thanu, yeah, its so beautiful. But I only wish these had some fragnance..

Orchid, hey thats in degree Celcius, not Fahrenheit. I still prefer the Indian metric system :-D. Yeah, frequency is upped from 4 days to 3 hehehe :)).

The violet one looks wonderful. :)

Smi retorted...

In the US, you wait eagerly for seasons to change and enjoy it whole heartedly, specially given that they are all so markedly different from one another!
For instance, fall is such a celebrated season there, whereas its almost unheard of, back home, in India!
When I used to live in Minnesota, I used to crave for summers during freezing winters and once it got too hot, I'd start craving for snow again! But, spring was of course my fave season!:)

Deeps retorted...

Harish, unlike the usual flowers in US, the violet one has a lovely fragnance too :).

Smi, I like that actually. I like the different distinct seasons here. Bangalore is also lovely in its own way, but this is nice too :).
